Irish Dance & Music Workshops with Siobhan Butler & Sean Earnest! Friday, October 17, 6:30-8pm in Asheville, NC - exact address to be given upon RSVP. It is the oldest indigenous format of Irish step dancing, from which all other forms originate. It has similarities to clogging or flat-footing. Paul Taylor Dance Company performs 8pm Friday and Saturday, October 17 & 18 at Diana Wortham Theatre in downtown Asheville. Choreographer Paul Taylor is the last living member of the pantheon that created modern dance. Taylor, whom Martha Graham famously referred to as the “naughty boy” of dance, continues as he has since 1954 to win public and critical acclaim for the vibrancy, relevance and power of his creations.
